Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a non-profit international organization that sees the endless efforts from young individuals who willingly invest in their energy and time in making a better place for people from every walk of life. SIFE provides a platform for university students from all over the globe to address real world business and economic issues occurring within their communities.
As the first SIFE team in Malaysia with 10 years of establishment, SIFE UiTM have run more than 40 community projects and impacted over thousands of people over those years. Our concern has always been at the forefront of the local economic development and entrepreneurship across Malaysia. It is of our great priority to implement innovative and sustainable projects so that we are able to give back to the communities while at the same time refining our actions to be socially responsible business leaders.
Accounting Made Easy is an example of how SIFE UiTM gives back to the community. We believe that education is a more sustainable, if not most effective form of assistance for entrepreneurs. Instead of giving them money, AME provides a solution on how to make sure that they do have money, through the practice of record keeping and proper documentation. From the businesses that we have impacted since 2007, we saw that by simply recording each transaction, business profits can grow significantly! This is why we decided to set up this blog, that is to share the information, spread the news that accounting is important, though often an overlooked feature of a budding enterprise.
